A message from the Archdeacon:
We are being invited to share this information about “Thy Kingdom Come” which starts on Ascension Day, 30 May until Pentecost, 9 June. Please encourage all our congregations to participate in this period of prayer and action.
Engage by visiting the TKC website www.thykingdomcome.global and, if you haven’t done so yet, registering to pray.
Share by encouraging your people to do the same and to incorporate TKC into their Ascension and Pentecost ministries. There are lots of ideas on how to do this on the website and it’s not too late for them to get involved.
Act Follow this link to “Light up Europe” which would be a simple and effective way of being involved and it would be a fantastic encouragement to all involved in TKC on behalf of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. The web map shows your wonderful country lit up with prayer for more people to come to know the Lord Jesus.

As part of the Church of England Diocese in Europe, in the Canary Islands, our aim is to serve the English speaking residents and visitors to the island of Lanzarote, with regular Sunday services at Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca & Nazaret.
We are a parish with a mission as we seek to further God’s Kingdom on our islands, in fellowship with our sister churches here. We aim to work closely with the other churches, to offer a united and friendly welcome to people from all over the world, and we are blessed to have so many visitors to our worship. This brings to us a wonderful diversity of culture and language in which we rejoice and give thanks to God, for the diversity of His creation. We are blessed too, to have a regular congregation, who support the ministry and mission of the Chaplaincy.
Whether you are a long-term or new resident, a regular visitor, or simply here on holiday, please be assured of a very warm welcome at all our services and events. We love to hear from visitors who have shared worship with us, and do let us know if you are thinking of joining us for worship when you come on holiday to Lanzarote. Our website contains lots of information about us, and whom to contact.
Your prayer for our work is important to us, and if you would like someone added to our Intercession list whilst you are here, please let one of the Ministry Team know.
Our regular services:
Puerto del Carmen, every Sunday, 12.30 pm
Playa Blanca, every Sunday, 5.00 pm
Nazaret, 1st Sunday, 10.00 am
